Yes, there are OTHER competitors :(      however,  Tonia & I are the sole operators who have seen first hand, how the others operate.

Beginning as far back as the 1990's, ICE CREAM ANNIE served the area.  Operating as a sole proprietorship, ANNIE utilized a red Gruman step van illustrated with rainbow stripes.  Sometime in the early 2000's Annie was sold and quickly expanded into a business having its base in western Lycoming County.  As this business 'grew', competition was eliminated via buyouts, non compete agreements along with saturation (whereby communities and neighborhoods saw trucks repeatedly).  Into about 2012, yet another sole proprietorship began.  Truly a sole proprietorship (not incorporated) this individual began 'training' with the previous western Lycoming County business and essentially got greedy.  In 2014 (for two months)  personal experience and observation of this business acumen, tactics, style, integrity, and greed illustrated vehicles which were sub standard (dry rotted tires, failed headlights and brakes).

Family health issues required commitment as well as an ethical and moral choice: family took priority. 

Jumping to 2017, our FROZEN FAVORITES orange van was purchased in Maryland and brought home.  Incorporated legally and appropriately within PA, the van underwent mechanical work (bringing ALL up to commercial PA inspection  standards).  Engine issues brought our season to an early close in September.  In the off season, we have developed this web page, improved safety with the addition of strobe markers, as well as LED front and rear lighting.
